Welcome to Programming Ministries
Our programming ministry at LSCC consists of several
areas that present opportunities for people to use their
talents and gifts. The worship teams and band are by audition only.
Worship Team:
Shane Groom is the
leader of our band. Shane, along with our worship leaders
Celeste Shouman, Bob Kershner and
Dan Shipley, leads our worship team
to create an atmosphere where the power and presence of God
can be experienced. They hold rehearsals every Thursday
evening to prepare for our Sunday celebration services.
Their desire is to lead people to worship Jesus.
Video Team:
Dan Wilton leads our video team with bi-weekly Saturday morning
training classes. The video team not only films, edits, and
produces videos of LSCC activities, special events, and
other LSCC functions, but they also produce videos for use
during the worship services and other activities at LSCC.
Lighting Team:
Greg Lacefield
is the coordinator of the lighting ministry, providing an
ambient atmosphere for all of our events here at LSCC from
weddings to Sunday morning worship services. Greg is
responsible for recruiting and training our lighting
volunteers.
Sound Team:
Jerry Abson is the leader of the “sound guys” and is
responsible for recruiting and training sound technicians
for not only Sunday morning services, but all activities at
LSCC that require sound. From weddings to sporting events,
our sound guys stay busy!
Drama Team:
Our drama team coordinator is
(TBA).
This individual is responsible for researching and/or
writing dramas to illustrate teaching points on Sunday
morning. They are also
responsible for recruiting folks to participate on our drama
team in productions ranging from a simple skit to a full
blown Christmas musical.
Ambient Art Team:
Andrew Dyrdahl
is the leader of the ambient arts team. Whether it’s foam
core figures or colored fabric drapes, this team creates the
visual ambient atmosphere that you experience at LSCC every
week.
Media Shout Team:
Our computer operators are recruited,
trained, and directed by
Beth Bookhamer.
From worship songs to sermons and announcements, they are responsible
for the images that you see on the big screens every Sunday.
Day Director Team:
These dedicated
individuals show up every Sunday morning at 7am and direct
the preparation of church services. They are the liaison
between all volunteers on a Sunday morning. It is their
responsibility to make sure everyone is on the same page and
the services flow. From giving cues to the control room, to
making sure the communion servers know when to prepare for
communion, the directors hustle and keep everyone on their
toes!
