| Description | God has established the family as the foundation of all civilization. Last Sunday, we considered the relationship between a husband and a wife as the cornerstone of the family. Establishing a spiritually healthy marriage is the obvious place to begin. Now, on to the business of children.... With the tragic rate of divorce and the anguish of rebelliousness, having children is a risky thing. Apparently God intended that children and family be blessing and joy; so, how can we get from where we are to where we want to be? We will be sharing helpful information for those who have parents, and those who are parents, and grandparents and those who want to support parents... and that should be everyone in the Christian community. It's possible to get caught up in the basic survival of parenting and miss the love of parenting. If you are hurting as a parent, there is hope in the struggle. God has shared with us foundational, bedrock truth for the reality and challenge of parenting. He never said it would be easy, but He did say He wouldn't leave us alone and He gave us some really good directions. |
