Comfort Bags

When Child Protective Services shows up to remove a child from their home, they often leave with nothing, or at best, a garbage sack with a few clothes. Lake Sawyer Christian Church wants to provide encouragement to these kids in crisis by providing them with a comfort bag. These bags are filled with new pajamas, underwear, and socks as well as a few other age-appropriate items and a note of encouragement. Gather your family together or team up with your home group to participate in this project that will bless children in crisis in our own community.
