Guest Services
WELCOME TO GUEST SERVICES MINISTRIES
"Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it." (Hebrews 13:2)
Our guest services ministry at LSCC consists of several areas that present opportunities for people to use their talents and gifts in serving the congregation on Sundays.
Ushers:
Ushers are the caretakers of the congregation during the service. The importance of an usher can't be overstated as the impact is enormous both in meeting the needs of people and in keeping the church service running smoothly. Ushers greet individuals, assist in finding adequate seating, take attendance, and respond to other needs and questions as required.

Greeters:
A firm handshake and a warm smile can be such simple gestures, yet they can also be powerful tools for getting visitors to make return visits. That's what our greeters do! They welcome and assist all guests and members who enter the facilities. They open doors, hand out bulletins, answer questions, give directions, or escort newcomers to the Information / Resource Center.

Information / Resource Center:
The Information / Resource team helps visitors feel welcome and genuinely accepted. They familiarize newcomers with our facilities and staff. They answer questions and direct individuals to any information or literature in which they may be interested. They also sell or take orders for recorded sermons, lessons, and devotionals.

Communion:
The Lord's Supper is an integral part of every service and the communion serving team plays a key role in making it a meaningful one. The worship experience of the Body depends on the quiet and faithful service of these volunteers. They distribute the Lord's Supper to the congregation as well as collect the offering each week. Communion Preparation:
Want to help behind the scenes? In partnership with the communion serving team, the prep team experiences the joy of preparing the elements of the Lord's Supper to be served to the church body.

Coffee:
Coffee service can be one of the most constructive moments in extending a welcome to newcomers and building relationships between each other. The coffee ministry team provides coffee preparation before the service, monitors the coffee and keeps the area tidy before and in between the services.
