Vine Maple Place
Vine Maple Place is a Christian organization that offers homeless
children and their parents transitional housing where families live for up to 24 months so
they can develop greater stability and self-sufficiency. While at Vine Maple Place,
families benefit from the following three areas:
- Case management: Helping residents develop a Family Transition Plan to achieve permanent housing and stable employment in livable-wage jobs.
- Child Advocacy: Providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive. Services include tutoring, social-skills training, structured playtime and special events.
- Life-Skills Training: Weekly classes include money management, budgeting, goalsetting, parenting, skills, time management, job readiness and more.
Ultimately, Vine Maple strives to put each family on a path to a stable future thus
breaking the cycle of homelessness. Vine Maple Place directly helps 28-32 children (42-52
people total)

Costs associated with helping children and families at Vine Maple Place:
$8400: Individual adult counseling for 14-20 parents
$4000: School age children support group for 20 children
$4800: Individual counseling for 8-12 children
